- In your Facilitator Tools dashboard, open your session and click PowerPoint Add-in to generate a single-use pairing code.
- In PowerPoint: Home → Facilitator Tools → enter the code. The deck remembers its session — reopening the file reconnects automatically.
- To put animated live results on a slide, use Add Live Results Frame in the pane (Windows inserts it for you; Mac shows the two-click path). The frame finds your session automatically — and once saved into a deck, it travels with the file, so template decks can ship with frames already in place.
Updates: the add-in's code is served from addin.facilitator-tools.com, so you always run the latest version. You only repeat installation if we announce a manifest change.
Troubleshooting
- Button doesn't appear after admin deployment — allow up to 24 hours, then fully quit and reopen PowerPoint.
- Pairing code expired or invalid — codes are single-use and short-lived; generate a fresh one.
- Live Results frame says “Reconnecting…” — the presenting machine must be online. If the frame offers a pairing form, enter a fresh code.
